This long expanse of greenspace offers plenty of space to run, play, or relax. Majestic oak trees line the perimeter walkway, and the tennis courts and playground are popular almost year-round.
History
Acquired by the municipality of South Vancouver through tax sales before the City of Vancouver amalgamation in 1929, the park was named for a nearby Gordon School. General Charles Gordon was famous for being the British General at Khartoum.
