This small and quiet park is filled with Douglasfir and dogwood trees. English Bay can be glimpsed through the boughs of these trees, which also shelter a playground area.
History
Originally a park in the Point Grey Municipality prior to amalgamation in 1929, it was named for the neighbourhood where it was located, Westmount, comprising the subdivision between Blanca, Belmont and West 2nd Avenue. This neighbourhood in turn was named after Westmount, Quebec.
