About the Park
Tucked into a vibrant neighbourhood, Victoria Park is almost always full of activity. Stop to enjoy a lively game of bocce, or sit quietly under the trees and listen to the birds.

The park was redeveloped in 2008 after a community consultation process. New features include pathways, lighting, picnic tables, a new playground, an arbour and improved drainage.

History
Originally known as Grandview Park, this green space was renamed on July 26, 1911 after its bounding street of Victoria Drive, which of course, was named for Queen Victoria.

Three historic photos depicting the park are etched on steel and mounted on decorative boulders throughout the park. The photos show the park in 1905, 1915 and during the 1960s. The etchings were installed during the 2008 redevelopment.
