Rezoning CD-1 Text Amendment
GBL Architects Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver to amend the existing CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District By-law for 445 Southwest Marine Drive. The proposed amendment would change the CD-1 (71) By-law to include market residential (388,000 sq. ft.), rental residential (63,000 sq. ft.) and daycare uses (5,200 sq. ft.). The proposed funding for this project is tied, in part, to the Community Amenity Contribution (CAC) associated with a concurrent rezoning application for a site at 1300-1320 Richards Street.
